Gleaming white single and beautiful Mt Nebo Methodist Church crowns a hill on the Brown Hollow Road, just off the Williamsport Pike. The exact date of the organization of Mt Nebo Methodist Church has been lost but it was prior to 1826 in a log cabin. In 1858 the beautiful white building that you see today was built. A little more history of our church...James Knox Polk in 1833 was at a camp meeting with his wife and received the lords supper and was baptized into the Methodist Church.
